Quezon City Public Library Offers Free Online Japanese Language Classes

The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL) in partnership with Jellyfish Education Philippines, Inc. (JEP) announced on March 15, 2023 that it will be resuming its free online basic Japanese language classes. They will conduct the online classes via Zoom starting from April 17, 2023 to December 11, 2023.

The schedule for the Quezon City Public Library online Japanese language classes is as follows:  

• April 17, 2023 
• May 8, 2023 
• June 12, 2023
• July 10, 2023
• August 14, 2023
• September 17, 2023 
• October 09, 2023
• November 13, 2023
• December 11, 2023  

How to register for the QCPL online Japanese classes

The Quezon City Public Library’s free online Japanese language classes are on a first-come, first-served basis. This means that only the first 500 individuals who registered will be accommodated per class. 

If you are interested in engaging on this wonderful experience of learning Japanese language, you must meet these requirements: 

•  Applicants must be 18 years old and above.
•  Applicants must have a laptop, desktop, tablet or mobile phone to attend the online class.
•  Stable internet connection.
•  Zoom application account.

Steps for online registration

1.  Accomplish the online registration form.
2.  Wait for the confirmation email.
3.  Confirm your attendance within 24 hours. Failure to do so will automatically remove you from the official list of successfully registered participants. 
4.  Wait for the final approval email with the Zoom class details.

Reminders:
• Participants must use their official name in the Zoom account so they can be easily recognized by the moderator during class.
• By the end of the class, you will have to accomplish an evaluation form to receive your Digital Certificate of Participation.
• The link for the evaluation form will be sent via email.
